SPEAK AND ENJOY PUCCINI
A course in Italian language and culture intended for those who have a passion for the opera and particularly for the extraordinary talent of Giacomo Puccini, the famous composer born in Lucca.

Program: Monday to Friday: Italian language class in small groups of the same level consisting of maximum 10 students, from 9.15 am to 1 pm. Monday afternoon: at school, introduction on the figure of Giacomo Puccini, followed by a visit to the house where he was born, in Lucca city center. Tuesday afternoon: excursion to Torre del Lago Puccini and to the Villa where the Maestro spent most of his life and composed his most celebrated works. Guided visit of the villa-museum, rich in objects and mementoes of the life of the artist, and walk on the promenade of the lake where Puccini used to go boat hunting. Wednesday afternoon: Participation to a concert with a repertoire of Puccini’s pieces. Thursday afternoon: Excursion and visit to Celle Puccini, a hamlet on the hills north of Lucca, where Puccini and his family used to spend their summer vacation. Final dinner at a typical restaurant. Friday afternoon: Free.
Course price: € 660, including the Italian lessons, the above-mentioned activities, the dinner on Thursday and the transport for the tours
