A course of Italian language and cooking – combining two outstanding elements for a perfect experience of the Italian culture.

Course duration: one week.

2022 starting dates: 21 MARCH, 4 APRIL, 2 MAY, 30 MAY (sold out), 5 SEPTEMBER (sold out), 10 OCTOBER, 7 NOVEMBER (OLIVE OIL SPECIAL).

Minimum number of participants: 2

Program: Saturday or Sunday: Arrival and lodging at the chosen accommodation. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday in the morning: 9.15 am to 1 pm, Italian language class in small group of same level (max 10 participants). -- Activities beside language classes -- Monday: a walk with the teacher in the old city, discovering and tasting delicacies of Lucchese gastronomy. Tuesday: cooking lesson* – preparation of a complete Tuscan menu (appetizer, first course, second course, side dish, dessert) and dinner together with teacher-chef. Wednesday: full day tour to discover the food, history and nature of the Tuscan territory, including lunch in a typical restaurant offering local delicacies and visits to historic centers, nature parks and traditional food production. The excursions can vary according to the season. Thursday: cooking lesson* with wine tasting – preparation of a complete Tuscan menu (appetizer, first course, second course, side dish, dessert) and dinner together with teacher-chef**. Friday: free afternoon. Saturday or Sunday: departure

Price: 570€ including language course, cooking lessons and tours.

* 2 different menus according to season, here's some examples: Tuscan toast with typical sauces, hand made pasta (ravioli, tagliatelle), farro soup, stuffed vegetables, chine of pork with aromatic herbs, turkey stuffed with vegetables, fried vegetables, stuffed cuttlefish, vegetable soufflé, almond cookies, cream dessert.... and lots more!
