A course of Italian language and cooking – combining two outstanding elements for a perfect experience of the Italian culture.

Course duration: one week.

2024 starting dates: 19 February, 18 March, 8 April, 6 May, 20 May (Fully booked), 3 June, 2 September, 30 September, 21 October (OLIVE OIL SPECIAL), 25 November.

Minimum number of participants: 2

Program: Monday, through Friday in the morning: 9.15 am to 1 pm, Italian language class in small group of same level (max 10 participants). -- Activities beside language classes -- Monday afternoon: a walk with the teacher in the old city, discovering and tasting delicacies of Lucchese gastronomy, and grocery shopping for the cooking lesson of the following day. Tuesday afternoon: first cooking class – preparation of a complete Tuscan menu* (appetizer, first course, second course, side dish, dessert) and dinner together**. Wednesday afternoon: visit to a wine farm and tasting of tuscan wines, accompanied by various snacks. Thursday afternoon: second cooking class - preparation of a complete Tuscan menu* (appetizer, first course, second course, side dish, dessert) and dinner together**. Friday: free afternoon.

Price: 660€ including language course, cooking lessons and tours.

* 2 different menus according to season, here's some examples: Tuscan toast with typical sauces, hand made pasta (ravioli, tagliatelle), farro soup, stuffed vegetables, chine of pork with aromatic herbs, turkey stuffed with vegetables, fried vegetables, stuffed cuttlefish, vegetable soufflé, almond cookies, cream dessert.... and lots more!
